Advice The Kindermuseum Creaviva offers teaching staff and trainee teachers an extensive museum education package. Activities and opportunities available during a museum visit are discussed either at one-on-one meetings or as part of introductory courses.
Teaching resources The Kindermuseum Creaviva has prepared playfully didactic learning units. The first two Paul Klee : The Symbols and Paul Klee : the biography contain a lot of practical ideas for school classes. The publications can be bought in the shop. Available only in German.
Special guided tours In co-operation with the Communications and Mediation Department the Kindermuseum Creaviva offers guided tours of the collection and/or temporary exhibition, by prior arrangement. A guided tour lasts around 75 minutes. By agreement beforehand, areas of interest are accommodated whenever possible.
Projects Together with teaching staff and schools the museum education team is working on projects covering a range of topics and stretching of a period of several days, weeks or months.
Teacher further training In co-operation with the central agency for advanced teacher training (ZS LLFB) the Kindermuseum Creaviva also offers special programs outside the ZS LLFB's own curriculum. In addition to introductory courses, which address aspects of didactics and methodology, the Kindermuseum Creaviva also holds practical workshops with ideas on how to put the theory into practice in the classroom.
Volunteers and trainees The Kindermuseum Creaviva co-operates with Teacher Training Universities (Pädagogische Hochschulen), art schools, art history institutes and art education establishments. Traineeships and volunteer assignments are organised for young artists, teachers and art educators as part of individual projects.
