Soloist and chamber musician Pierre Sublet trained in Geneva under Harry Datyner and in Paris under Claude Helffer, and is the winner of many national and international competitions.

Besides many years as head of the Conservatory and the Music University in Biel / Bern, where he teaches piano and contemporary chamber music, Pierre Sublet regularly performs in concerts and holds master classes throughout Europe, the US, South America and China.

Pierre Sublet has premiered many works as a specialist in the music of the second half of the 20th century; his concert work has been complemented by a number of CD and radio recordings. In addition to 20th century music Pierre Sublet also has a keen interest in the repertoire around 1800, and is particularly fond of the pianoforte accompaniment of lieder.
