An extensive specialist library collects all the literature on Paul Klee, to be made available to anyone with an interest in the subject.
The library collects everything ever published about Paul Klee, from the first mentions of the young artist around 1900 to the very latest exhibition catalogues and monographic works; it currently comprises some 7,500 titles. Scientists, researchers and interested amateurs come here to find out in more detail about Klee’s life, how his works were created, and his theoretical considerations. All the catalogues of exhibitions in which Klee ever took part are also stored here.
