The Kindermuseum Creaviva focuses primarily on stimulating the creative potential of children and young people.
 
The Kindermuseum Creaviva is also responsive to adults and to people of different backgrounds.
 
Paul Klee is the catalyst for practical and play-oriented art mediation, but he is not necessarily the object of it.
 
The Kindermuseum Creaviva makes a constructive contribution to the appreciation of culture in our society by offering an aesthetic education.
 
The Kindermuseum Creaviva embodies education, creativity and meaningful recreational activity. This involves a constructive process rather than passive consumption.

Unfortunately some of that is lost between the age of 10 and 12, which means we only have a short time at our disposal in which to nurture or stimulate existing abilities and skills. As the name “Kindermuseum Creaviva” implies, it is meant to be a place of creative activity. At the Kindermuseum Creaviva children and their parents are introduced to the art of Paul Klee as part of an extensive programme of events.” Ted Scapa

Paul Klee was a visual artist, musician, poet and educationalist. He was also very interested in mathematics, natural science, physics, anatomy and biology.
