«dragged down into lowercase» was the concept of the Sommerakademie 2008 in the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern, Switzerland. The Sommerakademie had invited leading artists and scholars to reflect on the connotations of the underground through new art projects and theoretical positions.

The Sommerakademie 2008 was conceived and the exhibition curated by:
