The Klee Gesamtprojektleitung Klee (Overall Project Management Klee – GPLK) comprises:

Andreas Marti, Secretary General of the Main Office for Public Education, Overall Project Manager.
(Today Director of the Zentrum Paul Klee.)

Ursina Barandun, Science Staff Member at the Main Office for Public Education, Information and Public Relations.
(Today Director, Communications and Mediations at the Zentrum Paul Klee.)


2. Representative of the City of Bern
Peter Tschanz, Co-Secretary General of the Presidential Office of the City of Bern.

3.  Representative of the Civic Community of Bern
Dr Lorenz Meyer, administrative tribunal judge.
(Today Federal Judge.)

The Manager of the Gesamtprojektleitung Kleewas Elisabeth Ryter.

In accordance with the duties on its agenda the Gesamtprojektleitung Kleewas authorised to commission experts within and outside the administration, and to delegate specific issues and duties to individual persons or committees for processing.


Duties of the Overall Project Management
The Overall Project Management was responsible for the timely management of the project and the co-ordination of all activities, including in particular the following:

• Clarifying the management.
• Drawing up an operating concept.
• Drawing up an organisational operating concept.
• Drawing up a spatial concept.
• Drawing up a research concept.
• Drawing up a service concept.
• Preparing and monitoring the museum’s construction on behalf of the Maurice E. and Martha Müller Foundation (MMMF).
• Representing public interests in the Maurice E. and Martha Müller Foundation (MMMF).
• Informing the public.
• Preparing referenda and decisions by the authorities.

For external controlling activities the Gesamtprojektleitung Kleehad at its disposal a variable group of experts made up of different members to provide the best possible benefit depending on the state of progress of the project at the time.
