The Centre Paul Klee offers audio guides to its visitors containing a spoken and musical programme alongside the permanent exhibition display. The spoken programme gives the opportunity to visitors of the museum to listen to talks between fictive visitors, citations by Paul Klee, statements of his relatives or friends as well as a description of the works shown. The musical programme invites visitors of the museum to follow the musical traces of the artist. Via the headphone sign displayed near the description of the work the visitor will be able to choose selected musical pieces that have a direct connection with his works. A short spoken introduction illustrates the connection between the compositions and the work by Paul Klee.
The job of the Audio Guide Team is to hand the equipment out to our visitors as they go in, and collect it from them as they come out. The team also shows and explains to visitors how the guides work. The equipment needs to be cleaned after each use.
