The grounds as a flowing link between interior and exterior

The frontage of the Zentrum Paul Klee runs parallel with the motorway, emulating its curvature and slight southward tilt. Spatially it refers to the axis Giacomettistrasse – Insula dulcamara (formerly Friedhofweg).

Landscaping plans
The 2.5 hectares of the Landscape Sculpture behind the building’s three hills are to be put to agricultural use again after completion.

The concept drawn up by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) plans to incorporate the grounds of the Zentrum Paul Klee into the district as a green recreation area.

The architectural design will link the inner and outer areas of the Zentrum Paul Klee, thereby creating close ties with the surrounding landscape.
