Developing Figures Through Drawing and Discovering Characters
Inspired by Paul Klee’s fantastical creatures, we explore figure drawing in a playful and joyful way. Starting with simple shapes and spontaneous lines, we develop faces and transform them into character figures that interact with one another and grow into a collection or a story. Along the way, we experiment with facial expressions, gestures, body language and different techniques. The course is aimed at anyone who would like to discover new ways of creating characters and deepen their enjoyment of illustrative drawing.
