Nature as a Source of Inspiration

We immerse ourselves in the colourful world of plants and let ourselves be inspired by their beauty in the community garden, which was created in 2021 as a pilot project with the neighbourhood and has since become part of the Fruchtland. Fruchtland refers to the area surrounding the Zentrum Paul Klee. With a field, the community garden, and many small biotopes, the Fruchtland offers space for relaxation and discovery.

We start the workshop with a walk through the community garden and discover the fascinating diversity of forms and colours in the plant world. There, we make our first sketches of plants and then learn the technique of painting with chalk on jute. The soft texture of the chalk allows for gentle transitions and the creation of various textures.
