Tempera from the Ground Up: Mixing Colours, Exploring Layers, Experiencing Materials
This course introduces us to the fascinating world of tempera painting. This traditional and luminous painting technique was also used by Paul Klee in his material-based experiments. We make our own colours using, among other things, fresh egg, selected pigments and simple, tried-and-tested recipes.
Through practical work, we create transparent and opaque layers, small series of studies and individual approaches to painting. The focus is on the interplay of material, colour and surface, as well as the joy of experimentation.
The course is aimed at anyone who appreciates hands-on authenticity, material exploration and artistic processes. No prior knowledge is required.

Cost: CHF 420 incl. materials, exhibition admission and coffee/mineral water
Two weeks before the course begins, we will inform you by email whether the minimum number of participants has been reached. If the course cannot take place, the course fee will be refunded.
