Art courseLine and Colour in Dialogue

A line is more than an outline or a mark. In this course, we approach it as an independent painterly event, separate from representation, narrative or form. Together, we explore the relationship between line, colour and surface. Both elements assert their independence, enter into dialogue, contradict one another, overlap or merge into each other. Representation is not the focus; instead, we explore how an image emerges from its painterly relationships.

 

Experimental work and changing formats open up a process in which a personal visual language can develop. The course is aimed at anyone who would like to engage with an open, contemporary approach to painting.

Cost: CHF 345 incl. materials and mineral water

 

Two weeks before the course begins, we will inform you by email whether the minimum number of participants has been reached. If the course cannot take place, the course fee will be refunded.
