Serial Originals – Woodcut Style and Razor Sharp
From the first rough sketches to the nuanced development of details: in analogue printmaking, all stages of the creative process remain visible and exist alongside one another. In this course, we explore the possibilities of analogue printing techniques together.
After an introduction to the printing process and the tools and materials involved, we develop an independent work. We explore the themes of original and reproduction, unique piece and series, and look at relevant artists working in analogue printmaking.
The course is suitable both for anyone interested in discovering the technique and for those who already have experience in printmaking.
